OPEN POSITIONS

  • LABORER

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
    • Help equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary
    • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
    • Load or unload construction materials
    • Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding
    • Remove, fill, or compact earth
    • Follow instructions from the superintendent
    • Assist craft workers
    • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
    • Perform site clean-up

    Requirements:

    • Must have a valid driver license
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • High school diploma
    • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
    • Ability to lift 100 lbs. and remain on foot throughout the entirety of the workday
    • Ability to work in all weather
    • Workers must be punctual and reliable
    • Ability to get to the job site
    • Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry

  • CARPENTER

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Knowledge of materials, techniques, and the tools required in construction and/or repair of buildings.
    • Knowledge of construction and building design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
    • Ability to read and understand basic plans and use mathematics for basic layout and measuring
    • Ability to identify issues and review information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
    • Ability to understand, follow and communicate written and verbal instructions in English
    • Ability to maintain consistent and punctual attendance
    • Skills in developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
    • Ability to lift 35-40 pounds consistently and 70 pounds occasionally with assistance; proper lifting techniques required
    • Ability to travel to the job site as required
    • A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have strong communication and organizational skills.

    Job Duties:

    • Installation of doors, frame, and finish hardware
    • Installation of cabinets and millwork
    • Installation of backing and blocking
    • Installation of specialty items
    • Must have a valid drivers license.
    • Looking for various levels of carpentry experience.

  • PROJECT MANAGER

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the construction project delivery, working with others and achieving a successful outcome of the projects.
    • Good communication skills, as you will be in constant communication, both written and verbal, with owners, architects, subcontractors and fellow employees.
    • Develop estimates and bids accurately.
    • Work well under pressure.
    • Monitor all costs on the project to ensure accuracy and staying within budget.
    • Forecast project costs and make adjustments to ensure job stays within budget.
    • Process pay requests.
    • Attend and lead project meeting. Prepare and record meeting minutes.
    • Resolve conflicts as it related to the personnel and construction documents.
    • Review construction documents and identify possible issues and resolutions before they come up.
    • Promote a safe working environment.
    • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients and subcontractors.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field.
    • 3-20 years of experience in commercial construction management.
    • Able to work with the Design-Bid-Build, Construction Management or Design-Build processes.
    • Must be detailed oriented and a self-starter.
    • Must have strong communication and analytical skills.
    • Work well with other people.

  • SUPERINTENDENT

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Ability to develop and maintain, a close working relationship with project managers, owners, architects and subcontractors
    • Ability to review constructability options and recommend the best solution based on cost, quality or availability of materials
    • Ability to interpret the plans and specifications, identify issues and review information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
    • Ability to understand, follow and communicate written and verbal instructions in English
    • Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
    • Knowledge of how to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and calculate mathematical extensions. Must have a good working knowledge of geometric formulas and equations required to calculate quantity for material and labor calculations
    • Assist in creating a schedule with the project manager, subcontractors, and material suppliers
    • Strong organizational skills required
    • Ability to travel to the job site as required
    • A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have strong communication and organizational skills

    Job Duties:

    • Responsible for the overall project including cost, schedule, quality, safety and promoting a good relationship with the client
    • Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and correct job site hazards immediately
    • Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office
    • Required to order materials and coordinate subcontractors work
    • Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
    • Scheduling inspections
    • Maintaining positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
    • Prepare schedules and supervise the completion of a final punch list
    • Must display strong written and oral communication skills and employ effective listening skills with attention to detail
    • Must have no felony convictions on record
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • All employees are subject to pre-employment drug and physical health screen
