An interior restoration project was undertaken for Memorial Hall, a historic 10,250 sq foot building dating back to 1929, located on Camp Ashland and belonging to the Nebraska Military Department. The hall serves as a military auditorium, showcasing historical military plaques, photos, and regimental flags. The goal of the restoration was to preserve the original beauty and craftsmanship of the Hall while updating it with state-of-the-art technology. The space features high ceilings and displays the original steel roof trusses. Additionally, new restrooms, utilities, and an upgraded mechanical system were installed. Porch restoration was also completed to match the existing windows on the rest of the building, creating a more welcoming entrance.
