Chad Weyers Education & Hixson Lied Art Building

New construction of a three-story, 57,714-square-foot facility designed to house Doane University’s education and art programs. The building features classrooms, seminar rooms, studios, and faculty offices, as well as a 300-seat multipurpose space and a glass-enclosed student lounge that fosters collaboration and showcases student work. The design emphasizes natural light, improved ventilation, and acoustic comfort, creating an environment conducive to both teaching and creative pursuits. Sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems were incorporated throughout to enhance building performance and longevity.
