The new construction parking facility combines both functionality and aesthetic appeal. It has a capacity for 411 parking stalls and an additional 144,000 square feet of retail space. One of its notable features is its architectural adaptation to its surroundings. On the Q Street side, the structure seamlessly integrates into the Historic Haymarket District with a design reminiscent of the area’s storefront buildings.
The 9th Street side presents a striking contrast, mirroring the grandeur of downtown Lincoln’s larger building scale. Towering twenty-foot-tall free-standing brick pylons stand as sentinels, marking the entry point to downtown Lincoln and the Historic Haymarket. Topped with beacon-like light fixtures, these pylons serve as guides, directing visitors and residents.
