Meadowlane Elementary School

Meadowlane Elementary School underwent extensive renovations and additions to provide a more comfortable, attractive, and safe learning environment for students. The renovations involved converting existing space into mechanical rooms, adding small rooms for mechanical equipment, installing new ceilings and high-efficiency lights, replacing exterior windows and doors, re-roofing the entire facility, and replacing the flooring. The vocal and instrumental music rooms were also relocated. In addition, a new multipurpose gymnasium and support areas were added. The site drives and parking was redesigned to improve safety and traffic flow. Life safety measures were enhanced through fire alarm upgrades, the addition of a sprinkler system, egress lighting, and a backup generator. The project also addressed significant ADA, maintenance, and hazardous materials concerns.
