Pound Middle School

An addition and renovation provided much-needed space for the students and faculty of Pound Middle School. The project included a 4,500 sq ft gymnasium, 3,700 sq ft of classroom space, 2,700 sq ft for the art department, and 7,200 sq ft of science labs. The existing school building underwent a 113,360 sq ft renovation, resulting in a newer, safer, and cleaner environment that complies with up-to-date codes, maintenance, and ADA upgrades.

The project spanned over 20 months and 7 phases, with students occupying the building during two school years. Daily coordination between the school and the Kingery site superintendent ensured that student activities and safety were always the top priority.
