To meet the growing needs of the Elmwood-Murdock school district, additions and renovations were completed to both the Elementary School and Junior-Senior High School buildings. In addition to providing more classroom and administration space, the project included ADA upgrades, facilitating asbestos abatement, indoor air quality, security, fire and life safety upgrades.

Due to space limitations, full occupancy was necessary during construction for both buildings during the school year as well as maintaining administration function in Murdock at the elementary school during the summer. To facilitate this need, a comprehensive phasing schedule was developed without the additional cost of portable classrooms.
