• The Owner may hire a Construction Manager (CM) early on to provide pre-construction services.
• The CM provides services that include working with an architect and/or engineer to establish the project program, constructability, schedule and budget as a collaborative team, from the beginning to end.
• It is the CM’s responsibility to control a project’s time, cost and quality.
• The CM typically provides construction services on a cost-plus-fee basis.
