streamline the delivery schedule by overlapping the design phase and construction phase of a project.
- An Owner hires a construction company and design professionals, under a single contract, as a team for the project.
- The two organizations then become the single point of responsibility for the entire project.
- The team is responsible for delivering both the design documents (plans & specs) and construction services according to the owner’s project requirements.
