An addition and renovation gave the much-needed space to the students and faculty of Pound Middle School.

A 4,500 sq ft gymnasium was added to the existing school, along with 3,700 sq ft in classroom space, 2,700 sq ft for the art department and 7,200 sq ft of science labs. Along with the addition, a 113,360 sq ft renovation of the existing school building brought a newer, safer and cleaner environment with up-to-date codes, compliance, maintenance and ADA upgrades.

This project was over 20 months and 7 phases with students occupying the building during two school years. There was daily coordinating between the school and Kingery Construction Co. site superintendent. Student activities and safety were always discussed first.
